Day 1 – Arrival in Paro, transfer to Thimphu
Land in Paro and drive to Thimphu along the Paro–Thimphu river valley. Check in and stroll Norzin Lam for a first taste of local cafés and handicrafts. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 2 – Thimphu Essentials
Visit Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, and the Textile Museum (time permitting). Explore Tashichho Dzong’s grand courtyards by late afternoon light. Evening at leisure to sample local eateries. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 3 – Dochula Pass to Punakha Dzong
Cross Dochula Pass for Himalayan vistas and 108 chortens. Descend to Punakha to tour Punakha Dzong, dramatically set at the confluence of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu. Sunset walk on the suspension bridge. Overnight in Punakha.
Day 4 – Khamsum Yulley and Village Life
Hike through terraced fields to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. Meet villagers tending fields and learn about seasonal crops. Optional hot stone bath in the evening. Overnight in Punakha.
Day 5 – Paro Heritage
Drive back to Paro. Visit Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum (Ta Dzong). Late‑day market browsing for textiles and hand‑carved souvenirs. Overnight in Paro.
Day 6 – Tiger’s Nest Monastery
Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) with tea‑house rest stops. Descend and visit Kyichu Lhakhang if time allows. Farewell dinner and reflection circle. Overnight in Paro.
Day 7 – Departure
Airport transfer and assistance. Depart with a balanced portrait of Bhutan’s culture and nature.
