Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Paro, transfer to Punakha
Arrive at Paro International Airport and meet your guide. Drive over Dochula Pass (3,150 m) for Himalayan panoramas before descending to the lush Punakha valley. Gentle riverside walk in the evening. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 2 – Mo Chhu Rafting and Punakha Dzong
Raft class II–III sections of the Mo Chhu. Picnic lunch by the river. Visit Punakha Dzong and stroll the 300 m suspension bridge. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 3 – Khamsum Yulley Hike and Village Visit
Hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, then visit nearby villages. Evening cultural program. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 4 – Transfer to Phobjikha Valley
Drive to Phobjikha, walk the Gangtey Nature Trail, and visit Gangtey Monastery. Overnight in Phobjikha.

Day 5 – Alpine Meadow Trek
Trek into higher meadows for Himalayan vistas. Picnic lunch en route. Overnight in Phobjikha.

Day 6 – Return to Paro
Drive back to Paro. Visit Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum. Market browsing in the evening. Overnight in Paro.

Day 7 – Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike
Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest). Optional Kyichu Lhakhang visit. Farewell dinner. Overnight in Paro.

Day 8 – Departure from Paro
Airport transfer and assistance.

Inclusions

US$ 40 visa fee per person for a single entry.
SDF (Sustainable Development Fees) & Taxes for above said duration of stay in Bhutan.
